Well I knew it was going to be cold, but it really is very cold. I considered wearing shorts earlier today, but realised once I had walked outside for 10 minutes that I will need to dress up in plenty of layers tomorrow. Luckily I have brought lots of layers and think I will start by looking a little like the Michelin man. Still not sure about shoes. It is pretty icy on the roads. Need to try some options in the morning. The highlight of the evening was seeing the Aurora borealis or northern lights. It swirled around our heads and then would disappear and then reappear again. Wish I had been away from street lamps. Hope for a good night sleep now.
