Weather extremes

When Katrin and I ran the Tromso "polar night" half marathon in January, it was around minus 5 degrees Celcius and with snow and ice on the ground. The weather forecast for my Sunday half marathon in Burnham is now looking like 27 degrees. I'm hoping that it will be cooler to start the race at 10am, but I am slightly dreading what temperature it will be when I finish around 11.30. Let's hope there is no delay in starting the race.

At least there is a swimming pool that the runners can use after the race. I will be taking some swimming gear so that I can cool off afterwards!
